An Ally for Conservative Politics

Mr Lee BeamanLee Beaman is a strong supporter for conservative politics and political candidates. Over the years, he has used his wealth and influence to work to support different candidates and political initiatives, both on a local and national level.

Beaman has donated to the Republican Party of Tennessee and the National Rifle Association. He has also made contributions to the campaigns for Donald Trump, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Marsha Blackburn, Bob Corker, and Brandon Ogles.

One of the conservative causes that Beaman holds near and dear is the topic of school choice and a voucher program. Beaman sees it as an injustice that some students are stuck in underperforming schools simply because of where they live. He believes all families should have the opportunity to select the best public school for their child to attend.

Doing so, he believes, will help level the playing field and provide all students with the same access to a quality education. Beaman thinks that the competition that would result from a voucher program would help all schools improve their performance and better meet the needs of their students. He also believes that students would leave school more prepared for college or other future careers and endeavors.

Beaman also garnered a lot of local attention because of his involvement in a contentious Nashville political issue. In 2013, Nashville’s Democratic Mayor, Karl Dean, made a proposal that would allow the center lane of one of the city’s busiest routes to only be used by buses.

Beaman and many other residents were strongly opposed to this proposition. The StopAmp movement was created to oppose the mayor’s proposition.

Shortly after Beaman made a $10,000 donation to the StopAmp movement, the mayor withdrew the proposition. Many in the Nashville area credit Beaman’s donation to the movement as being one of the main reasons behind the mayor’s policy reversal.

Because of his involvement in this political issue and the impact his donation made on the course of events, the Nashville Journal awarded Beaman with the title of “Newsmaker of the Year.”

Beaman’s involvement and contributions to conservative politics has also caused him to be recognized as a “Top Influencer” for Tennessee. Ballotpedia gave him this title in 2015 after all the ways Beaman has used his time, money, and resources to work to enact political change in Tennessee.
